He began his basketball career as a junior FMP Zeleznik. In 2005 he became a member of the first team. Afterwords he was loaned to Borac Cacak, and in the 2007/2008 season came back to Zeleznik, where he remained until 2010. Last season he signed a five-years contract with Efes Pilsen, and played for them at the beginig of the season. He was transfer to Alba Berlin , where he finished the season 2010/2011. For the national team he has won three gold medals, 2005 U18 European Championship, 2007 U19 World Championship and 2008 U20 European Championship, on which he was tournament MVP. He is occasional member of the Serbian national team and with them he won the silver medal at the European Championships in Poland 2009.
